Someone has created a series of short AI videos that depict Jesus speaking to his followers about what will happen to “this generation.” Although they are labeled as dispensationalist, there are many Evangelical Christians and Baptists who would hold to the same general ideas. I’ve embedded three of them below.
Yes, they are a bit cheeky. That’s the entire point. I don’t believe they are meant to be disrespectful toward Jesus in the least. I think they are meant to point out absurdity with absurdity.
Think about these questions and videos without the lens you normally use.
- What did Jesus mean when he spoke to his disciples about this generation?
- What did Jesus mean when he spoke directly to the Pharisees and Sadducees about being a part of a wicked and adulterous generation that would be charged with the blood of the prophets they killed?
- What did Jesus mean when he answered the questions of the disciples who wanted to know when these specific things would happen?
- What did Jesus tell his followers standing directly in front of him to do when they saw certain things that would happen in their lifetime?
Lastly, many to most American Christians have no idea what is even going on in the last video. We are rarely taught in any detail about what happened in 70 A.D. Why is that?
