As we continue to watch this awakening unfold, I find it helpful to gauge where we are by watching people who would consider themselves liberals/Democrats. Not nutjob leftists, but people who at least have some ability to reason with reality.
Bret Weinstein was on Joe Rogan this week. This is an interesting segment on the invasion of our nation. If you remember, Weinstein was the one who lost his job at Evergreen College when that place went insane a few years back. He is also the one who did the podcast with his wife about Weird Sheep. (My post about that here: On Being a Weird Sheep.) He’s definitely more awake, but the fact that he brings up RFK, Jr. as a possible solution made me shake my head. Sigh.
The bill that comes up in the discussion is The Courage to Serve Act.

Another thing that made me shake my head in this conversation was when Weinstein said that Trump doesn’t know how to assemble a team and is a one man show.
I mean, think about that.
The man had a hugely successful TV show and who knows how many businesses building buildings, golf courses, etc.
But he doesn’t know how to assemble a team.
Okay.
I don’t agree that Trump is a one man show. I do think in some cases he has made some poor choices for staff which did not help him while in the White House. I believe he does know how to assemble a team, whether some are good choices is a whole other question. Some have been great choices! Others have not. I do hope he is also focusing towards winning the next Congress which he also needs to pursue, not just as president. Obviously, those in charge of the RNC have not helped some of the issues with candidates for the next Congress and election integrity.
There’s a few ways to look at the people Trump chose to work with him in D.C.
One, he knew they were snakes and pushed them into the light to expose them.
Two, he didn’t know and they betrayed him.
We already know many of the people around Trump were subverting him and his orders. The question I have is how many and how far did they take it (sedition, treason, etc.).
Something else to keep in mind… If Trump is part of a counter-coup and was asked to do this, then he knew far more about everyone in D.C. than the Swamp realized.
