This is a short video from The Economic Ninja that most people should watch. He explains how quickly a company can close their doors due to tightening credit markets.
He’s been warning for many, many months there is a coming unemployment disaster this autumn as credit for companies dries up. Whether it is credit cards for individuals or credit for corporations, the credit market is changing rapidly. Many people are susceptible to this kind of job loss and they have no idea.
All of us should be thinking about how we would pivot if our income was impacted this fall by the highly likely impending credit crisis. We should also be thinking ahead in terms of other ways this might impact us even if we don’t suffer direct job loss. Everything is interconnected.

I listened to this video this morning (it’s long!), and it gives incredible insight on WHY the unemployment is coming. The beginning of the video is helpful, but the real meat starts around the 15 minute mark or so.
While I’m not familiar with this particular YTer, I do listen to Nobody Special Finance (the guest) fairly often.

Thank you for sharing that video. Interesting coverage of what’s going on, especially the lagging effect.
When he was discussing the unemployed, double jobs, etc. I kept waiting for him to bring up Ed Dowd’s extensive coverage of death and disability due to the covid jabs. Either Jack doesn’t know about it or he’s choosing to not go there. In either case, it’s a significant factor that can’t be ignored much longer. The numbers are off the chart and getting steadily worse.

Sallie, agree with what you said above. I saw a video recently with Ed Dowd that the v@x injuries will be increasing because of the boosters and will affect the loss of jobs. This was a recent interview on USA Watchdog.
