This is an excellent overview of this topic from a preterist perspective. It is a paradigm shift which requires taking off the eschatology glasses so many American Christians have worn for much of their lives.

As different forms of preterism spread in the body of Christ, I think it’s important to understand it. You can see all the posts I’ve tagged Preterism. It definitely takes time to understand it. Over the past year, I have become convinced it is correct in at least some ways. I haven’t worked out yet how far I go on the preterist scale.
