For a number of years, I heard people throw around the idea that 700 years had been added to our timeline. I didn’t know where that idea had originated and didn’t take the time to look. (So many theories, so little time.) This 2016 presentation by Gunnar Heinsohn’s answers that question – in detail.
Below are four videos. The first one is the original lecture Heinsohn gave in Toronto. Paul at Understanding Conspiracy has done the following to the original.
This is a presentation by Gunnar Heinsohn on a 700-year discrepancy within the official chronology of the 1st millennium AD. In preparation for a joint breakdown review of this presentation, I have segmented the original, added titles and extra images, re-ordered for improved flow of information and removed repeated points.
Because Heinsohn speaks with a German accent, this is one of those videos that I have to completely focus on. You might find it the same way. However, the information is fascinating.
Paul and JT from JT Follows JC did a livestream of this video where they watched segments and then discussed them as they went. I’ve embedded it below as well. They are both committed Christians as far as I can tell. They are especially interested in this because they believe we might be living in the short season or little season of Revelation 20. Here is Revelation 20:1-3 (KJV).
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
I’m pretty sure they both subscribe to Biblical Cosmology and I think that comes up. If you don’t agree with that view, don’t let that deter you because the information in the lecture is truly fascinating.
What makes it especially interesting is that Heinsohn is not discussing this from a Christian perspective. This is a secular lecture and yet it appears to fill in gaps that many of us have noticed.
So you can watch the video on its own or you can watch their discussion of it. The choice is up to you.
I hope you enjoy the mind-boggling information.
