I recently completed a Decluttering 1,000 Things project for myself. My goal was to remove 1,000 things from our home over the course of a year. As it turns out, I was able to remove 1,000 things in much less than a year and then kept going. I would like to encourage you to do your own Getting Rid of Things You Don’t Need Challenge.

You will be able to adapt this challenge to your life’s particular needs. My goal was getting rid of 1,000 things, but you can do any number that works for you. I have suggested 250, 500, 750, or 1,000 in this downloadable printable, but you can certainly adapt those numbers.

Getting Rid of Things You Don’t Need

Some people might honestly struggle to find 250 things that they can truly get rid of and don’t need. And other people, well… Once you get going you might be surprised how many items you have in your home that you can remove without much thought.
