I'm old enough to remember using the analog thermometers with the silver stick and round section to read.
But there is something to be said for a digital thermometer.
The first digital thermometer I bought was so-so. Then someone in the house didn't realize it wasn't waterproof. That ended that pretty quick.
This is the one I use now and it's great. Waterproof and super easy to read.
Did I mention waterproof? 😆
So far I've only used it for meat, but it can be used for other things.
