I’ve learned that small adjustments in my habits and thinking can product significant changes in our home and my personal life.
For example, it is amazing how much you can accomplish in five focused minutes. Instead of defaulting to mindlessly scrolling on the computer to “decompress” when I have a little block of time here or there, I can choose to tackle a quick job or make a better personal choice that will make a difference for me and my loved ones.
How To Use 5 Minutes Wisely
Implementing this five minute practice just twice a day for two weeks could make a real difference in your own home and personal life.
To make it easy, I’ve put together a list of many ideas for every room of the home. I’ve also included some personal items on the list.
Changing your mindset regarding small bits of time will start to show up in small ways around your home that will slowly snowball.
Put a copy of the homemaking idea list somewhere you can easily refer to it such as on the inside of a cupboard or closet door. Then when you need quick inspiration, it’s just a step away.
You could also put it in a plastic sleeve in the front of your homemaking binder for quick reference.
I encourage you to make the most of five minutes each day and see significant changes in your home in a short time.
