I want to keep a record of this, including some of my own comments while it developed. Then I’ll explain why I think it may have been an intentional psyop.
Trump’s spokesperson put out a verification statement almost immediately, but I can’t find it now.
After watching things unfold, I get the feeling this green card with diploma blowup was some kind of a good cop/bad cop psyop. Trump was the bad cop and Bannon is the good cop.
Trump and team had to know the visa issue would come up or could be worked into the conversation with this podcast group.
The entire blowup shifted the Overton Window quite a bit in 48 hours. Many people on places like Twitter/X who never would have spoken up against allowing foreigners into our country suddenly woke up to reality. Trump needs a vast majority of people on his side when the deportations begin. As a country, we need to be in agreement about who should be allowed in, for what purpose, and for how long. Things cannot continue as they have been the past fifty years.
I remember Trump posted a video a few months ago about needing to lose so you learn how to win. Some of these events feel coordinated in such a way that the public is being taught how to disagree and push back against something they don’t want, even if it’s being promoted by someone they like.
Bannon’s smirk a few times when discussing it on War Room made me think it was possibly planned. If not, it was still a great opportunity to shift the Overton Window. Either way, it was a net win. People are fed up with all types of invasions.
