Watch this segment from Trump’s speech the other day. He’s read “The Snake” before and he deliberately takes it out of his pocket each time to break the rhythm of his scripted speech.

I laugh when people say Trump is random, undisciplined, and frequently off-script. He’s so calculating with what he does. Once you understand how he speaks, it’s much easier to understand him.

One of the guys on Badlands pointed out that Trump uses his “asides” while speaking to tell you a direct truth he wants to communicate. (It was either Burning Bright or Chris Paul. I can’t remember which one mentioned it first.) Watch some Trump speeches with this in mind. Those little asides often feature very important information that will make sense to people who are really tuned in to the process going on right now. He also is very aware of audience reactions. You can see him reading the crowd frequently when speaking.

Also known as preparing people for the massive deportations that will be taking place.
