A good word on an objection to eternal security that doesn't hold up.
I will not give up grace merely because carnal men abuse grace. Nor will I give up eternal security because carnal men exploit it and use it as a license to sin.
The fact is, men use Arminianism as a license for sin too. They don't have to repent today because they can always repent tomorrow.
In forty-five years of experience, I have observed that eternal security gives men better ground for gaining victory over sin and going to higher ground. They don't get discouraged and give up.
