Geert Vanden Bossche has made some dire predictions regarding covid from the very, very early days.
Was he wrong?
Or has he simply been early?
Either way, I have kept an eye on the rare interviews he does.
This one from June was interesting. At the end, he offers a prediction. The host totally missed the point, but I got it and so did plenty of other people in the comments.
There are four months left this year. We'll see what happens.

I think that Philip missed Geert's meaning at the end. He's not giving up by the end of the year because he's fatigued, he's giving up because the virus will have broken through by that point. It's Geert's subtle way of giving us a timeline, without giving us a prediction. He's been burnt before, by making predictions, so he's being a bit more subtle this time.

You are saying Geert… that what you believe is evolving, will have evolved “by the end of this year” hence you will stop proactive activity because the anticipated “event” will have arrived. No fatigue involved but a non-time-lined projection of what you believe to be the reality of our situation. Thank you.
