If you aren’t on X/Twitter, you might have missed the blow-up over Christmas regarding bringing in foreign workers. It centered largely on Indians and White replacement in various forms (work, education, nation, etc.). Elon, Vivek, and the tech leaders led the way in the train wreck against MAGA. Elon and Vivek both came off badly. (I’ve shared my thoughts about Vivek before.) I think the tech guys were kind of shocked by the response. They have no idea how the average American citizens think about these issues.
I retweeted probably 100+ tweets and comments over a few days. If you go on my timeline over there, you’ll be able to get up to speed on a lot of the biggest conversations. (I plan to do a post with some of the highlights as part of my record here, but it’s way more than I could ever save.)
This article was making the rounds because it is very related to the discussions happening – India: It’s Worse Than You Think. I encourage you to read it and contemplate what it means to our country if it’s only even half true. I didn’t see any pushback regarding the accuracy of it.
American citizens will need to have some very uncomfortable discussions in the coming months about legal immigration. It won’t be uncomfortable for many of us because we’ve already thought about these issues. But many MAGA and America First people have bought the lie that illegal immigration is the problem, but legal immigration is fine.
If that is your take, I encourage you to look at Europe and the U.K. That’s legal immigration happening over there. Legal or illegal – it won’t make much of a difference in the long-run. You end up with no-go zones, massive violence against women, Sharia law/courts, out-of-control unprosecuted crime, and more.
If you legally import millions and tens of millions of people who do not share your culture, you will end up with theirs. What we have had here in the USA is special and unique because it was built by a certain group of people. It will not survive significant legal immigration. We are barely holding it together living on the fumes of the past.
As many will explain, there is no such thing as magic dirt. Simply landing here and taking a test doesn’t make you an American. It might make you a naturalized citizen with rights, but it doesn’t make you an American. All people groups are not the same. That’s reality.
I know this makes some people uncomfortable, but that’s the truth. The sooner more American citizens wake up to this reality, the better.

Someone explain to me why we should have to deal with caste issues in the USA. We shouldn’t.

I love your statement in what makes an American. Being naturalized does not necessarily make one an American!
My experience with Indians has been highly varied. Some are excellent people, particularly the Christian ones.
The high levels of immigration these past decades have been devastating to the U.S. At the same time, President Trump has had to build a unusually broad coalition that includes many immigrants to gain re-election.
My husband has his own business and works with “engineers” who are Indian. I passed on the article from Zerohedge to him. So many things in the article is what my husband is dealing with regarding these Indian “engineers”. My husband knowledge and experience is so much greater than theirs. He gets made to be the fall guy, and has had to repeatedly cc management with the client and his contractor boss about what is not being done and many other issues to document and cover themselves. These supposed “engineers” are a liability for the client company and my husband as a contractor. It’s insane!
