FALL CATALOGS!!! WOOHOO!!!
Ok, I know some of you are shaking your head and groaning at the thought of fall, but around here (in Michigan) we’ll start to see the hyper-early trees start to change in about a month. And we can start wearing lighter fall clothing about a month after that.
I love fall!
On a funny note… One of the catalogs was a Back to School 2006 Kids catalog from L.L.Bean. (We get every catalog known to man they put out, I think.) I instinctively started to toss it into the recycling pile and then thought – wait! I actually will HAVE a child this fall. I can look at this one now!
Old habits die hard! 🙂
I was just at Old Navy perusing the maternity clothes thinking, “Hmm, I’ll have to come back when the summer clothes go on sale.” It’s still summer here in the middle of your fall!
Love it! I found one in our mail today too!!! I opened your blog today and laughed out loud – for I’ve been saying the last few days – is it Fall yet? Here it’s nothing but high in the 90’s with 80% humidity! Yeesh….
I am a catalog fanatic. I read them for ideas and such. On occasion I will buy. My favorite are my bead catalogs. Now those really get me excited! As to the weather it will be at least 3 or more months before we can consider fall is in the air! Right now it is too too hot!
Oh, I too love Fall and Fall catalogs (and I live in Michigan too). I can’t wait for that first day there’s a nip in the air. But I think my favorite is to receive the L. L. Bean Christmas catalog in the mail. It always puts me in the mood for my most favorite time of year.
Ooooohhhh. I love catalogs! I love fall too. But since I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I think I’ll be feeling the fall experience somewhere between late October and Early Janurary. Really hard to tell when!
I have old pictures of putting up Christmas decoration on the front porch the week of Christmas with my daughter in a tank top, shorts, and picking azaleas! Yeah. We don’t get too much fall around here.
