A regular quiet time can be a significant part of a growing spiritual life. But do you struggle to maintain a consistent quiet time? Many Christians do. I’ve had periods in my life with a rich quiet time routine and other times when I really struggled or it even became non-existent.
There are a number of reasons why this struggle is real for so many people, but it is always possible to start over again. Rather than feeling badly about your struggle, make the decision to start again and create a new quiet time routine that works for you.
It doesn’t have to be long, detailed, and fancy. It doesn’t have to be first thing in the morning or follow a certain format. It simply needs to nourish your relationship with the Lord. Meeting with God should be a joy so let’s focus on that perspective.
Create A Quiet Time Routine
I encourage you to download a free copy of the short little course Create a Quiet Time Routine at the end of this post. It is just one page and gets right to the point. I hope it will be a turning point in your spiritual life if this has been a struggle for you.
If you haven’t downloaded and completed my free mini-course entitled Creating a Cozy Life – Getting Started, I highly recommend you do. This activity will make so much more sense with it already completed. You can also receive it for free at the end of the post.

I am so enjoying your blog, and I really love this post. I have gotten so caught up in planning routines for my children. How nice to read something that I can put to use for myself during their quiet hour.
