I wandered into the world of Field Notes and little notebooks a few months ago via YouTube. If you aren't familiar with them, here are some examples.
Field Notes: National Parks (Series A - Yosemite, Acadia, Zion)
Field Notes: National Parks (Series C - Rocky Mountain, Great Smoky Mountains, Yellowstone)
(There are other National Park ones at the links as well.)
Personally, I also love the stitched notebooks from The Rifle Paper Company. Swoon!
Anyway, this is one of the videos I watched that started me thinking about Field Notes and the joy of using little notebooks.
