Pinterest is now filled with ads. Ads are one thing. But constantly starting video ads is awful. Pinterest should be a relaxing place to browse and enjoy.

Here is how you can turn off the desktop autoplay of video ads on Pinterest.

• In the top right corner, click the downward V next to your profile picture.
• Choose "Settings"
• Choose "Privacy and Data"
• Scroll down to the last option under "Personalization" and uncheck "Autoplay videos on desktop"
• Then click the "Done" button at the top of that page.

Now you can browse in peace without having ads starting every two seconds and that awful popping sound when they do. Enjoy!
