I believe the artist's name is Elouise Wilkin? I remember a Little Golden Book entitled Prayers For Children that she had illustrated. I love those sweet faces!
Yes, it is Eloise Wilkin. We have a few of her books. I've never forgotten that particular image from a child though. There was something about the illustration and the prayer that resonated with me.
