Another post from my now closed politics and culture blog. This was originally posted February 14, 2019. Look at how things have developed since then. Julia Beck tried to warn people. Tucker Carlson tried to warn people. Yet here we are as J.K. Rowling well knows.
This is one issue where conservative Christians and “traditional” feminists (for lack of a better descriptor) agree – transgenderism, biology, and the logical outworking of these issues.
It makes for an unusual alliance, but they are both of the same view on this issue. I can only imagine the heat that Julia Beck has taken for this view.
It was also interesting to hear her views on the LGBT acronym. I know that there is great disagreement among these groups and it was helpful to hear her perspective on this.
