I think it's helpful to get outside of the Democrat/Republican and Love Trump/Hate Trump state of mind by looking at similar ideologies in another culture.

Here's an excellent video about the Labour Party in the UK that just got crushed in the election. The Labour Party went so far Left that constituencies in the Midlands and North have Conservative MPs for the first time since the 1930s or EVER. Like NEVER EVER. That's how bad the Labour Party has gone left.

This video goes through a whole series of tweets in response to a call by Rebecca Long Bailey who wants to replace Corbyn as the party leader. She calls for "Progressive Patriotism" and Twitter melts down.

What he's talking about in Britain carries over into the USA. Progressivism and Leftist thinking is destructive whether you are British or American.
