My brain decided that it was maxed out on the overwhelming amount of evil going on at the moment. It told me that we were done researching and posting this stuff for a bit.
So that's why things have been slow around here as of late. It's been for my own mental health. {blackemo}:hotdrink:
I have no problem sifting through all of the garbage in the news most of the time. But at some point, I max out and have to back off for a bit. Right now we are literally drowning every day in evil and filth.
That Glenn Beck video rant I shared the other day? I could easily rant if I got on a video. Mine would probably contain a lot of imprecatory Psalm reading as well.
Tucker Carlson had an opening monologue in the past few weeks in which he discussed how unhealthy it is that we wake up literally EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING. and our world has changed again. This is the world we are living in and it is incredibly unhealthy. It's not possible for us to live this way much longer. Someone or something is going to snap and set off a chain reaction.
There was one REALLY interesting development yesterday and I'm going to drop that in the Q forum. So if you don't usually look in there, you should. I'll also post a link here after I get it in there.
I'll also put the Glenn Beck rant link in the following comment.
How are you doing? I hope you'll take a moment and say hello! Let me know how you are doing. {blackemo}:flowers:

I am still going through some major life changes and could use prayer. I am still needing remote work and doing some online training as well. I have not participated much as I needed a brain break as well away from all the political stuff of the day.
Unfortunately, family members have bought into all the COVID stuff among other items and shut us down when we try to have a reasonable conversation. Yet, they can voice everything they wish! It's not respectful and really tamps down on the discourse, and frustrating to us as well.....
@kris I noticed you've been really quiet so I'm glad you popped in to say hello and give us an update and prayer request. {yellow}
I'm sorry about the situation with your family. Feel free to speak here and/or dump on us in the forum when you need to get it out. I'm fortunate that I have a few people I can speak with daily either on the phone or via Telegram texting about this stuff. Otherwise it might drive me insane. It's like a form of delusion has overtaken our country on multiple fronts. {yellow}

Hi sally,Just saying hello and I totally understand the frustration with all this! For our own mental sanity,we must tune a lot of this out.Our world is falling apart, but we can remind each other that 1. this world is NOT our home and 2. this is our Fathers world, and even though we don’t like the things we see, God still is in complete control. We can rest in that.Time outdoors really is very beneficial for mental health. On another note, has my fellow pansy lover gone out yet and bought any new pansies this year? I told myself I would be more controlled in my pansy purchases this year.So far so good, but there are a few I would still like to have. For some crazy reason my brain always thinks I need every color combination of pansy known to man....It’s a happy malady anyway 🌺
Hi Joslyn! How nice to hear from you. Yes, I have my pansies. LOL! No matter what is happening in the world, if I have the filled pansy planters on the deck then life is good. I should take a few pictures for my weekly Friday post. I will see if I can work that in today.
Yes, God is in control and still on His throne. It's been very good for me to do the morning and evening devotional posts to remind myself of that as I start my day and as I end my day. I don't create those posts ahead of time. They are written and posted in real time. They bless me so much every time I do them. ♥

Hi! It's good to take a break once in a while, and those seem to be the times when God drops in extra help and hints.
I am doing okay, and have made some progress in uncovering the truth in that complicated family situation.
My husband got me a hanging basket of pansies this spring.
