Matt Gaetz nails it with Governor Whitmer's agenda. She's not governing. She is auditioning.

Just think! If Biden picks her and the Democrats win, Whitmer won't just be running Michigan. She'll be running your state within probably a year as well.

So this is my lovely home state being dragged through the mud. There is so much at play here and I don't have time tonight to get into the details. I hope to come back and write out my thoughts as a life-long Michigander.

In brief, Governor Whitmer is way over her head, she's enjoying her celebrity, she's enjoying her power, and she's not going to back down to any men in an attempt to prove how "strong" and "powerful" she is as a woman.

She has no idea what to do so like a good Progressive/Leftist she is taking the "compassionate" approach so no one dies of coronavirus on her watch. She has no idea how to deal with the economic realities of this state.

And she's halfway mentally gone to D.C. and becoming YOUR next POTUS if she can get Biden to pick her. Just imagine. Whitmer could be YOUR president because Biden won't last a year.

Never in a million years would I have guessed that Michigan would be the meltdown epicenter of this entire lockdown thing. It's really surreal.

Here are a bunch of videos. I haven't watched all of these, but I want a place to keep track of all this so I can come back for future reference.

I'm going to put each video in a separate comment.

These are going to be in random order because I don't want to take the time to sort out exactly in what order they were released.

Feel free to comment whether you live in Michigan or not.

Colorado is not really in the news except for such a "good job" our Democratic governor is doing in opening up.  Well, he extended the "safer at home" for another month.  More retail is open now except for only curbside pickup and offices at 50%.  The data here does not justify this.  Some bazaar edicts as part of his order are that you cannot travel within 10 miles of your home.  The restaurants should have opened up with everything else.  I have already heard of a major chain closing, but it had some restaurants in other states.  There have been a couple restaurants here that have defied the all powerful health department and governor. Restaurants may not even be able to open till Memorial Day.  Does not make sense... He did say in a press conference that people should report those who are not following these orders.  Feels like a police state...  This is more stringent the the previous lockdown order.  Eventually, I hope it comes out, it will if more protests and/or civil unrest happens.

Our city and county of Denver Mayor has instituted a face mask mandate.  If you don't have it on when in line outside or inside a retail establishment, you can be fined $999 per infraction and a year in jail.  This applies to the governors edicts as well.  We can be ticketed by Denver Parks and Rec if in a park.  Your state is worse, but our consitutional freedoms are being infringed on around the country.  Churches are still under the 10 or less mandate for city and state.

We are doing ok, but tired of being pushed down with these "mandates".  Our leaders keep saying they need more data. What more data do they need?

I have to keep praying, because all this just frustrates me at times....we are doing our best with our business affected greatly and the change for school was not that big since our son was in some enrichment programs.  So we just went back to the usual homeschool days.

I get a newsletter daily from a very insightful Christian woman.  She says we need to begin to let go on what is making us upset whether on social media, our leaders, in our families etc.  It is out of our control, but God has it. Thank you for these videos as I find them helpful.

@kris

Wow, those fines are unreal. I'm pretty sure we don't have anything like that.

Re: your comment about being like a police state, you are right. We are getting a glimpse of what the Democrat Party has become and what kind of power they would exert if they could. The Democrat Party has radically changed and I don't think some people fully understand this.

I think it was Dave Rubin who said in an interview recently that he will vote for President Trump because there are basically two parties now. The party of the Constitution (Republicans) and the part of Socialism (Democrats). It really has become that stark of a reality. Those of us living in states with Progressive Democrat governors are living with that reality. They want to bring it to the entire country.

I hope your business is able to improve soon. It is so disheartening to know so many people are suffering in this part of their life.
