A few weeks ago we had a family discussion about the death of well-known individuals. Caroline asked us if there were any famous people we would cry about when he/she died. Without hesitation I said Rush Limbaugh.
Hearing about his stage four lung cancer today is just so sad. I'm not ashamed to say I cried when listening to him discussing it.
I've learned so much from Rush about dissecting an argument, examining situations, and looking for the story behind the story over the past thirty years that I've listened. At the same time he's just so funny in a way that connects with me. He's really kept me sane during some nutty times in our country.
Our family will be praying for his complete and total healing.
