I'm only half way through this, but it is excellent. If you want to understand what is happening today, just look at what happened last year at the Southern Baptist Convention.
I'm Baptist but not Southern Baptist so I don't have a specific dog in this fight. However, as a Christian in this culture I do have a dog in this fight.
I'm not going to say anything else now, but may leave some comments when I'm done with the entire video. I'd be curious what stands out to other people.
ETA: I've finished it and it was even better than I expected. Truly disturbing. Trying to sort out what I want to say about it.

That was last Fall. I'm sure it has just increased given the current political climate. I think the thing that stood out to me was Voddie Baucham's comment that he felt that people were going along with this because they thought it was a loving way to look at others' trials, but that it was a slippery slope that would take us further down the path away from God's Word. I am paraphrasing quite a bit because I can't remember his exact words. Anyway, I see so many ideas that started out in love and the desire to help others that go so wrong in the end because men are human and are sinful. It's so important that we be discerning in the things and tools we espouse, and saying that CRT and intersectionality can be tools to guide our theology seems so far off base to me that I am surprised that a committee and then a whole convention could be swayed into agreeing with that. Not so long ago, I wondered how the deceiver could disguise himself as an angel of light and people would believe him. Thanks for sharing this Sallie!
