This falls under the category of fascinating. If you've never seen this online before, it's really quite an interesting read. The author, Dorothy Thompson, goes through an imaginary group of people at a party and tells the story of each person attending. She explain why each one will or won't go Nazi when the time comes.
This is kind of personality typing meets heritage meets upbringing meets history. The conclusions at the end are also still interesting, almost eighty years later.
