I have always liked the look of rag rugs and wanted to make one. I found this tutorial since I have a lot of sheets I could use.
Has anyone done this before?

The Amish knot video was very interesting--it is a technique that I hadn't seen before, which looks to me like a relative of tatting and macrame. It must make a sturdy rug, since every stitch is basically a knot.
In the second video, what she is doing is a very speeded-up version of the traditional braided rug. Doing a braided rug "properly" (with folded-in raw edges, strips joined by sewing, and braids laced together) is very tedious. They do last a very long time, though.
