Twitter locked the account of Donald Trump Jr. for approximately 12 hours, after the president's son posted a viral video of doctors touting Hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
The press conference, which received over 14 million views before it was blacklisted and scrubbed by Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, featured members of America's Frontline Doctors - a recently formed advocacy group which claims that "American life has fallen casualty to a massive disinformation campaign" against Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) - a decades-old malaria drug used by India and several other countries as part of their front-line treatment of the novel coronavirus, yet which has shown mixed efficacy in studies.

I watched this live yesterday and I knew as I was watching that it would not be allowed on many if not all the social media platforms. It was very interesting. I wonder how many patients would turn the drug down if it was offered?
So a bunch of information came out about this video and the woman in particular. She does hold some very strange views.
(Why didn't the Left stand up for this woman of color? Why is the Left arguing from science and facts when the Left and the Smithsonian were just telling us that the scientific method is an evil white construct? Why are they forcing this woman to adhere to that evil white construct? That's another discussion.)
That said, this video was scrubbed BEFORE information about this doctor started coming out. The information she was sharing about coronavirus treatment matched that of the Yale epidemiologist I linked to in another post.
If we believe in free speech, then Big Tech should not be taking this down.
Let people point out the problems with it. Let people critique what she said.
But Big Tech should not be censoring that which doesn't fit the Left's narrative.

Thanks for the link. I've never heard of him, but he's right about the mistake in pulling the video. It simply makes things worse because there is already a significant portion of the country that thinks we're constantly being lied to about everything related to this situation.
This is the problem in this country. We can't get straight answers because everyone has made everything political. I've thought the triple treatment was probably correct for many months. Not because President Trump touted it but because other people I trust spent a lot of time looking at the data from around the world.
I still think it's ironic as anything that the Left is melting down over the Nigerian doctor's weird ideas when they were just telling us last week that the scientific method is a tool of evil white supremacy. Which is it? Science is good when it hurts Trump. Science is bad when it helps Trump. I'm not exaggerating. It is to that level of insanity with the Left.
