This is my county!  Complete madness.  I spoke at the school board meeting this past Tuesday night.  We had to be fully masked.  The powers that be are out of control but majority of parents who spoke were Christians who were there to say "NO MORE."  We will not yield the souls of our children to the system.

@amypinva Do you think residents of the county are on board with all of this? Or is it a small group of teachers and administrators ramming this through?

@sallie We are an increasingly liberal county.  Lots of government workers and bureaucrats who believe all of the mindless "diversity training" they've received over the years. That said, a year of online public school has opened a lot of eyes to the garbage LCPS has been feeding our children.  Between the LGBTQ+ agenda and CRT push, it's truly evil.  More and more parents are speaking out.  Many aren't Christian or "political," but they're seeing how their children are going to be held back from higher math classes or access to the STEM magnet school because the county is going to start enforcing racial quotas.  I was encouraged to see SO many Christians come out this week and speak boldly in the name of Jesus.  Many of them were young singles in their 20s who don't even have children in the system!

@amypinva In the end, the online schooling may be part of what saves our country. Ironic, but true. I've been watching as school districts talk about getting rid of programs for gifted kids and that's tragic. Gifted kids are already at a significant disadvantage in the public school setting. To take away one of the only things they have going for them is a recipe for disaster. 

That's great that younger people are speaking out. Perhaps they are already seeing the destructive patterns playing out around them in their younger friends and coworkers. 

We're truly being held hostage in this country by a small group on insane people.
