Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend. Ours was rather quiet. Caroline is still trying to shake her cold once and for all. I finally took her to the med center yesterday where we were happy to be told there were no infections or anything troublesome. Just the lingering results of a virus. We’re hoping for a rather quiet week. We could all use several days of mostly puttering around the house, doing schoolwork, and working.
If you haven’t joined us yet in our Simple Living This Week, I hope you will today. If you need inspiration or ideas, you can find lots of it in A Quiet Simple Life Planner and Guidebook.
I’m hoping to finally start working on some Christmas things this week. I do have my Christmas cards and a list printed out, but that is it. I haven’t purchased any gifts yet so I hope to get started by the end of the week. I enjoy seeing all the pretty presents wrapped under the tree for at least a week or two before they disappear.
In addition to the general Christmas stuff, my goals for this week are going to be manageable and include the following.
Goal 1 – Thoroughly clean to top of the stove
Goal 2 – Spend fifteen minutes going through recipes, etc. (ongoing project)
Goal 3 – Spend twenty to thirty minutes tidying up in the basement
What is on your hope-to-do list this week? Feel free to share any goals, big or small, in a comment below and then come back on Friday to let us know what you got done so we can celebrate with you!
