KWLs are an easy-to-use tool for understanding a child’s learning in a particular area. This Martin Luther King, Jr. KWL will help you to assess her prior knowledge, understand her questions, and determine what she has learned at the end of your time of study.
KWLs can be completed by the child or the parent/teacher depending on the age level of the student and his writing ability. They also work well in a class discussion setting.
This packet includes both vertical and horizontal KWL graphic organizers.
Please also check out my Martin Luther King, Jr. Fun Fact Cards that you can use multiple ways.
