As I continue the process of moving all of my online work to this one location, I’ve created a new page for Proverbs 31 News. (The page link is located in the News dropdown on the website menu.) Throughout the day, I curate the news snippets I think best encapsulate what is going on around us. I share things that the regular media will not share. I also share news bits that readers may not have time to find on their own.
I describe it this way:
Thought-provoking news and commentary for Proverbs 31 women so they can intelligently and proactively care for their household and educate their children. You will be stretched and challenged by what you read here. America First. Christ is King.
My goal is not to offer a comprehensive overview of the news. I don’t have time for that and neither do most of you. Rather, I offer quick screenshots and observations of things you won’t see elsewhere and that keep you far ahead of the narrative game.
I hope you will take advantage of this. It’s a labor of love I continue to do because I want people to be informed and discern the truth. It makes it much more difficult to make wise decisions regarding how we run our homes if we are uninformed or misinformed regarding the massive and life-changing events developing outside of our four walls.
As much as we might want to live in a (mostly mythical) time of peace and harmony, that’s not where God has placed us. He has put each one of us in this place and in this time. Our call is to be good stewards of our lives where we find ourselves. Wishing it were different and pretending we’re not in the midst of a massive spiritual battle for the ages doesn’t change anything. It simply sidelines one more Christian who is needed in this battle.
Ephesians 6:10-20
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
