“God Gave Them Up” (Romans 1:24-27) by Alistair Begg

Pastor Alistair Begg tackles Romans 1:24-27 in these two sermons.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. (ESV)

“God Gave Them Up” – Part 1 (Romans 1:24-25)

Part one focused on Romans 1:24-25

“God Gave Them Up” – Part 2 (Romans 1:26-27)

The second part of the study focused on Romans 1:26-27.

May the Lord bless you for spending time in His word.

Hi Sallie – I’ve been telling as many people as I can about these sermons from Alistair. Before we leave for our church on Sundays, we stream his church on-line and watch their church service and these two sermons were excellent. Thank you for posting them and getting them out there for others to watch and listen to!

Merry Christmas, Sallie. I hope your family is doing well. : )

      Hi Mary,

His sermons are well done from what I’ve seen. He’s a mix of solid theology while also making it accessible – without pandering. The Scottish accent is enjoyable, too! He has another one in this series that I should add to the post, but I haven’t had time to watch it yet.

      Merry Christmas!
      Sallie
