When Caroline was a toddler, I found a printable shapes game online that she enjoyed playing for long stretches of time. I decided to make my own version that was a little nicer and had more flexibility to it. This free shapes treasure hunt activity is the result.
This activity includes the shapes and two playing mats so you can play just as soon as you get the pieces cut out!
Free Shapes Treasure Hunt Activity
This is very simple to play. First, cut out the pieces. Then “hide” them around the room where your child will find them. Have your child look for the pieces and place them on the play mat each time one is found. When the mat is full, she’ll know she’s done.
The colors and outline give clues regarding what to look for in the room. There is a six shape mat and a nine shape mat.
This printable activity is free only for use with your child, homeschool family, or classroom students.
You may not share, upload, post, embed, or otherwise distribute this printable in any other place or via any other medium. If someone else would like to use this activity, please direct him/her to this post.
