Once in a Millennium Record Heat and Deadly Temps Across the Western U.S.
Once-in-a-millennium events are going to become much more common in the coming years.
33 million people in seven states are sweltering under some of the hottest temperatures ever recorded.

Experts say the Northwestern United States is under what they call a "once-in-a-millennium" heat dome that has ground many normal activities to a halt.
That's interesting. I didn't know California was in the Northwestern US. I'm still learning about the Grand Solar Minimum, but I thought one of the earmarks was cooler temperatures. Just wondering.
