It's interesting how many times certain dishes come up. Creamed chicken on biscuits is one that comes to mind. (Pretty sure it's creamed and not gravy if I remember correctly.)

i'd love to know how those turn out...i just reread A Daily Rate and those codfish balls stuck with me...probably because I'd just made tuna cakes for supper 😀
