I’ve seriously thought of quitting Facebook, especially when the new format becomes mandatory. I saw on the Deyo’s website that they didn’t think people should be on Facebook.
Even my Computer Science son is not happy about how much information will be available to the PUBLIC if you don’t go in to security and make changes all over again.
I’ve never been concerned about marketers but I don’t like the thought of my Facebook page going to anyone other than friends and family.
Brenda – Yes, the whole Facebook thing. It has been frustrating that I couldn’t access some things online because I don’t have a Facebook account, but I simply refuse to do it. I know I am in the minority with that view, but I sincerely hope the whole thing implodes somehow. But then I also wish the same thing about Google. It is in NO ONE’S best interest that these companies have this much information and control.
I’m quite honestly waiting and hoping with glee for the FB meltdown or the “next big thing” to come along. I’m tired of it. Sadly half my relatives are there and that’s the only way they keep up with me, the kids, Marcy’s surgeries, etc. anymore. Everytime I “go silent” for a few days they get up in arms. Weird.
